Go to your GA4 Admin panel.
Under Product Links, click Google Ads Links.
Click Link and select your Google Ads account.
Enable Personalized Advertising and Auto-tagging.
Click Submit.
Once linked, your Google Ads performance data will automatically populate under the Advertising tab in GA4.
Can I view conversion data from Google Ads inside GA4?
Yes. GA4 automatically imports conversion events (like purchases or sign-ups) that originated from Google Ads clicks. You can see them in Reports → Advertising → Performance or by creating a custom exploration to analyze conversion paths and assisted conversions.
What should I do if the Google Ads report doesn’t appear in GA4?
If your report isn’t showing:
Confirm the Google Ads–GA4 link is active in both accounts.
Ensure auto-tagging is turned on in Google Ads.
Wait up to 24 hours after linking for data to appear.
Verify that both properties share the same email permissions and property access.
