Steps to take in your Google Analytics 4 account:
Step 1️: Navigate to Admin, then Audiences
Step 2: Click "New Audience", then "Create a custom audience"
Step 3: Give your Audience a name (New Users, Returning Users)
We will create 2 audiences: New Users and Returning Users.
Step 4: Select "Add a new condition"
Step 5: Select the dimension "New/returning"
Step 6: Add a filter (contains new or returning)
Step 7: Save your audience
Use the above steps to create an audience for New Users and an audience for Returning Users.
Steps to take in Looker Studio:
Step 1️: Click on Insert and add a Pie Chart
Step 2: Under dimension, select "Audience Name"
Step 3: Under metric, select "Total Users"
Step 4: If you have more than two audiences, add a filter and narrow down to the specific Audience Names
