Bounce Rate is included automatically in Explorations and some standard reports, but it’s hidden by default. Add it by clicking “Customize report” → Metrics → Add metric → Bounce Rate.
What is Bounce Rate in GA4?
GA4 defines Bounce Rate as 100% minus Engagement Rate. A “bounce” is any session with less than 10 seconds of activity, no conversion, and fewer than 2 page views.
Why don’t I see Bounce Rate in my GA4 reports?
Some GA4 reports don’t show Bounce Rate unless you manually add it via customisation. You need Editor access to enable the metric.
