Frequently Asked Questions on Adding a New Google Ads Account to your Google Ads Manager (MCC)
What is a Google Ads Manager (MCC) account?
A Google Ads Manager Account (MCC) is a central dashboard that allows agencies, consultants, or multi-brand advertisers to manage multiple Google Ads accounts from one place. It simplifies reporting, billing, and cross-account access without needing to log in separately for each client.
How do I add a new Google Ads account to my Manager Account?
Log in to your Google Ads Manager (MCC) dashboard.
Click the Accounts tab on the left-hand menu.
Click the + (plus) button and choose Create a new account or Link existing account.
To create a new account, fill in the account name, currency, and time zone, then click Create.
To link an existing account, enter the Google Ads Customer ID and click Send Request.
Once the request is accepted, the new account will appear under your MCC.
Can I manage multiple Google Ads accounts under one MCC?
Yes. A Manager Account can link and manage hundreds of individual accounts. This allows you to organize clients by region, brand, or campaign type, and manage permissions or billing for each from one dashboard.
What’s the difference between creating and linking an account under MCC?
Creating an account gives you full ownership — you control all settings and billing.
Linking connects an existing Google Ads account without changing its ownership. The original owner can revoke access at any time.
