Frequently Asked Questions on Meta Ads Sitelinks

What are Meta Ads sitelinks and how do they work?

Meta doesn’t offer classic sitelinks like Google, but you can create sitelink-like behaviour using Multi-Destination Reels, Stories, or Instant Experiences that allow multiple clickable links.

Can I track performance for each sitelink individually?

Yes. Add unique UTM parameters for every destination link. You’ll then see performance broken down in GA4 or any analytics platform.

Will adding multiple links confuse users or hurt conversions?

Usually no — if your links are clear and logically grouped. Multi-Destination formats often increase conversions by giving users more paths

Do sitelinks work on Instagram as well?

Yes, Multi-Destination Stories and Reels placements run cross-platform on Facebook + Instagram, giving both audiences multiple clickable links.
