How do I change the key event counting method in Google Analytics 4?
Navigate to Events under Admin, click on the 3 dots next to your event and simply change the event counting method. You can only change the count method for key events.
What is Once per event count?
Counts an event as a key event every time that a user interaction happens.
What is Once per session count?
Counts an event as a key event only once within a particular session.
Can I change the event count method at any time?
Yes, you can! but the new count method will start applying from the moment you change it and onwards.
