How to Link a Google Ads Account to Your Google Ads Manager Account
1️⃣ Login to your Google Ads Manager
2️⃣ Select Accounts (Left-hand-side column)
3️⃣ Click on the + symbol
4️⃣ Select Link existing account
5️⃣ Paste the 10-digit account number (can be found in the account you need to link, on the top-right-hand side of the screen)
6️⃣ Navigate to the account you need to link and
7️⃣ Navigate to Tools and settings (or Tools in the new interface)
8️⃣ Click on Access and security under the Setup column
9️⃣Click on Managers and accept the link request

A Google Ads Manager Account (also known as MCC—My Client Center) is a centralized dashboard that lets you manage multiple Google Ads accounts from one place. It’s ideal for agencies, consultants, or businesses running multiple ad accounts, as it simplifies access, billing, and reporting.
How do I link an existing Google Ads account to my Manager Account?
Sign in to your Google Ads Manager Account → Accounts → Management → + Link existing account. Enter the Customer ID of the account you want to link, then click Send Request. The owner of that account must approve the request from their end under Tools & Settings → Access and Security → Managers tab → Accept Request.
Can I unlink a Google Ads account later if needed?
Yes. From your Manager Account, go to Accounts → Management, find the account you want to unlink, and click Unlink. This immediately removes manager-level access but preserves the individual account’s data and campaigns. The account owner can still manage it independently.
Will linking accounts affect billing or campaign settings?
Linking accounts doesn’t change billing settings or campaign configurations. It only grants management access. However, you can choose to consolidate billing under your Manager Account for easier invoice tracking and payment processing if desired.
