With Frequency Cap, you can adjust the average number of times an audience will see your ad in a given period. You can control how many users see your ads, and adjust the cap in a way where you can get lower or higher frequency depending on your goals. To note, you can only apply Frequency Cap for campaigns with an Awareness objective. With that out of the way, this quick and easy guide will show you how to apply a frequency cap to your Meta Ads campaigns!

Step 1️: Navigate to your Meta Ads Manager
Step 2️: Start a new campaign and select "Awareness" as your objective
Step 3️: At the Ad-Set level, under Performance goal, click to Show more options
Step 4: Adjust your Frequency cap
You can adjust how many impressions you want to serve per day. In regards to the ideal frequency cap, it really depends on how aggressive you want to be. Our recommendation is to serve at least 5 impressions every 7 days, as based on some studies, there is a higher chance of someone buying your products or services if they see your brand 5 times.
