Topics Covered:

Step 1: Navigate to Pages and Screens Report

Step 2: Click on the dropdown menu under the first column

Step 3: Select the dimension "Page path and screen class"

Keep in mind that with GA4, the first column includes multiple Dimensions. In this example, we have the Page title and screen class as the default Dimension, and we can change it to another dimension such as Page path and screen class in the drop-down menu.

What is the difference between Page Path and Screen Class?

Page path refers to the URL of a website and Screen class refers to mobile applications. If you have a mobile app, then it is referred to as a screen. If you have a website, then it is referred to as pages.

Since GA4 tracks both websites and applications, some companies use this interface to track both websites and applications. If all you track is a website, you can ignore screen class as it's just a naming convention. You can focus on the page path which is the URL. Meanwhile, the page title is just the title of the page, but it is not very convenient to use because most companies don't really customize the page titles properly.
